Book Proposal Form

This book proposal form will allow our reviewers to make an informed decision about whether to publish your book. If we accept your proposal, it will also form the basis of any ‘intent to publish’ agreement we make with you. So it is important that you provide us with enough information to build up a detailed understanding of your proposed work. The following questions are intended to be helpful guidelines for the kind of material we need. They are not meant to be prescriptive, and you also can provide other information. If you prefer, you can simply email us and let us know what you have in mind.

Make sure you have read the Information for Authors/Editors before you send us your proposal. Please email us separately any attachments you would like to include with your proposal.

Please note that we do not charge for processing nor does access to funding for processing charges affect our decision on whether or not to publish a book. If an author has allocated funding to cover publication costs by their university, funding body or similar, we use this funding to make the book fully open access (also called Gold OA) or lower the cost of the print version or similar.
